In my many years as a photographer, I have had the privilege of documenting every kind of event and occasion that you can think of, but I had yet to photograph a proposal. Until now!! So it was with great excitement that my son and I made our way up to the rose garden on top of Burnaby Mountain to photograph one of his best friends since kindergarten propose to his girlfriend. I innocently wandered around the garden taking pictures of the roses while my son hid in the nearby bushes. When the signal came that he was ready, we jumped into position and made some wonderful memories of this very special moment in their lives!
